Photogenic, Most Beautiful, Best Fashion and Best Personality will receive awards!

Any contestant selling at least $100.00 in tickets will be crowned Sweetheart Prince or Princess.  The two contestants in the entire pageant selling the most sponsor tickets will be crowned Sweetheart Queen or King.  Sweetheart Princes and Princesses will receive a crown, banner and festival T shirt.   Sweetheart Kings and Queens will receive festival crown, monogrammed banner, engraved gift, and festival T shirt.

Sponsor tickets are $1.00 each and all proceeds go to the festival.

All Kings, Queens and Sweetheart Princes, Princesses are invited to attend the Meat Pie Festival, ride in the Robeline Heritage Parade and Natchitoches Christmas Festival Parade

• Pageant is open to all parishes and limited to the State of Louisiana.

• You must compete the age you are the day of the pageant; no back dates.

• Photogenic Pictures may be turned in with the entry form or on the day of the pageant.  Please no frames & no pictures larger than an 8X10.  Please have contestants name on the back.  Pictures will be returned after crowning.

• All Kings, Queens & Sweetheart Kings, Queens, Princes & Princesses will be presented at the Meat Pie Festival on September 15^th.  A float will be provided for to ride in the Robeline Heritage Parade and the Natchitoches Christmas Festival Parade.  Each child must provide their own throws. 

• Score sheets will be posted after each crowning. 

• Any contestant that places is welcome to attend the festival and be introduced on stage.  Please wear your crown or medal. 

• Deadline for all entries and Sweetheart ticket sales is September 4^th. 

• Hair and makeup should compliment the child not be distracting.  No pageant dresses allowed for girls 0-10 years and no tuxes for boys.  Girls 11 & above should wear a pageant dress or evening gown.  Make sure dresses are age appropriate.

• Kings will receive a crown.  All other boy contestants will receive a medal, trophy & goody bag.

• Stage: (Different this year)

• Admission $5.00 Adults $2.00 Children

Teen & Miss Contestants

• Teen and Miss Divisions will have an interview.  They will need to know information on the Natchitoches Meat Pie Festival, history of Natchitoches and on their bio sheets. Interviews will be in a round robin style. Interviews with each judge will be from 3-5 minutes long.

• Miss and Teen contestants will be required to sign a contract.  Miss will receive a $350 scholarship and the Teen Queen will receive a $150 scholarship.  Both will receive a custom Natchitoches Meat Pie Festival crown and custom crown box.  Both of which they may use during and return them at the end of their reign.  The Miss Queen will be required to attend 15 events as listed in her contract.  She will receive picture buttons, business cards, traveling expense, festival polo shirt, travel bag and velvet monogrammed banner.  The Teen Queen will receive a travel expense and travel bag.  The Teen Queen is required to attend 10 events as listed in her contract. 

• The Miss Queen is also required to attend the Louisiana Association of Fairs and Festivals Queen of Queens pageant in Baton Rouge on Feb. 21^st -24^th ,2008.

• Teen and Miss division contestants will compete in 60’s wear at the beginning of the evening session. During 60’s sportswear competition, Teen and Miss Contestants will introduce themselves on stage. They must say their name, contestant number, and extend an invitation to the meat pie festival. 60’s wear can be anything from jeans to a dress. 

• Contestants must be single, never been married, have no children, never been arrested or been on probation for any reason.

To enter the pageant all contestants must fill out the entry form and mail it in  with your check or money order (entry fee $45.00)  made payable to the Natchitoches Meat Pie Festival  to:
